This pecan pie comes out tasting very rich so limit serving sizes to about ½ the normal slice of pie. While you can serve this pie with a no fat whipped topping it tastes great just the way it is.
Note: While this recipe is Sugar Free for those who need to limit their sugar intake if you are choosing to limit the amount of sugar as a reduction in calories you may want to use a regular vanilla pudding instead of the Sugar Free to avoid the use of artificial sweeteners. However, remember that using pudding with the regular sugar content will make this very rich dessert even sweeter and it may prove to be too sweet for some palates.
