Simple Ways Of Lowering Calories In Your Diet
Dieting is difficult enough without feeling like you are always hungry. Here are a few simple ways you can lower calories in your diet without going hungry.
Choose water instead of high calorie beverages such as soda pop and sugary fruit juices. Leave your calories for food that actually makes you feel food.
Calories In Food:
Cut down just one ounce on those large meat portions. Instead of eating an 8 ounce steak just eat a 7 ounce steak instead you won't miss that extra ounce but can save as much as 100 calories depending on the meat.
Substitute a ½ cup of fruit or vegetable for ½ that baked potato. You will still feel full and cut down on some calories.
Drink a 10 ounce glass of water 15 to 20 minutes before each meal. This will help you to feel full and you will eat a little less.
By trying one or two of these simple tricks for lowering calories you won't feel hungry but, can often cut your calories by a fair margin.
