To make this Russian dessert you will need the following ingredients.

1 cup light sour cream

1/3 cup powdered sugar

2/3 cups fresh strawberries plus 8 whole strawberries

4 mint leaves

2 teaspoon plain gelatin

½ teaspoon vanilla

Begin by washing all the strawberries and laying the 8 extra berries aside to use as garnish later.

Make sure that the ingredients remains chilled throughout the mixing process. (chilling the mixing bowl before using will help to accomplish this.)

Once the mixture is fluffy, add in the berry pulp.

Dissolve the 2 teaspoons of gelatin in a small amount of warm water.

(Start with a Tablespoon and add more if needed) Then add the gelatin to the sour cream mix and blend the entire mixture well.

Spoon into 4 serving dishes and refrigerator for several hours.
