 Pumpkin Pudding Recipe

Incredible low fat pumpkin pudding recipe rich in nutrition and very delicious.

Pumpkins are some of the most nutritious of all vegetables and they are used as the main ingredient in many soups, stews and desserts. Some people often overlook the fact that even a Pumpkin pudding recipe can also be low fat and even low in calories.

The main trick is to look for ways that you can trim the fat from a recipe and still keep the flavors intact. There are simple steps you can practice to reduce the amount of fat, cholesterol, sodium and calories that are in many of your favorite recipes. Just consider this a wonderful opportunity to use your imagination in the kitchen.

Substituting skim, fat-free or 2% milk for whole milk allows you to instantly trim some of the fat in any recipe. You can replace many other ingredients with healthier, low fat versions that are almost identical in flavors and taste.

Although fresh ingredients are your best choice, there are times when packaged foods such as pudding mixes can be used to jump start a dish that is designed to be low in both fat and calories. If you will take the time to carefully read the nutrition labels you can choose the best ingredients to use.

It will only take you a few minutes to have this Pumpkin pudding recipe on your dinner table. Even though the flavor is decadently rich each serving contains less than 1 gram of fat and fewer than 200 calories.

The fresh spices will add incredible taste and they also give your health a welcome boost. When you use herbal seasonings you can eliminate the need for any extra sugar and the flavor of the dishes will still be perfectly balanced.
