Physical Fitness: No Jumping Jacks Allowed
When most people hear the term physical fitness it brings back memories of those high school gym classes where you spent an hour doing push up and jumping jacks and all kinds of other exercises that were supposed to whip you into shape and make you physically fit but, only succeeded in boring you to death.
That really isn't what physical fitness is all about. While getting and staying physically fit does include exercise that exercise doesn't have to be boring or painful. There are a variety of activities that can provide your body with exercise to help keep you healthy that are fun. Walking, hiking, swimming, and playing sports are all healthy ways to exercise and when you combine that exercise with a healthy diet that is low in fats and sugars you are on your way to physical fitness without doing a single jumping jack.
