When people think of physical fitness they usually think of exercise, but it is also very important to consider your diet as an integral part in keeping you physically fit. It is your diet and the food that you eat that sustains your body and gives it the nutrition it needs to function.

When you exercise your body burns calories. While you may want to burn more calories than you take in if weight loss is part of you fitness goals, it is important to remember that you need to eat enough lean meats, fruits and vegetables to supply your body with the nutrition it needs to maintain energy and keep you healthy.
