Choosing a healthy peach snack is a great way to enjoy this golden fruit. Peaches can be eaten fresh or can be combined with other ingredients to make a variety of enjoyable and tasty snacks your whole family can enjoy. Not sure where to start when making a peach snack? Peaches and Cream Cheese Snack

This Snack is simple to make, looks elegant and taste great. This recipe makes snacks for a family of four but, is easy to adjust for more or less people.


4 peaches peeled, pitted and cut in half

4 tablespoons of low fat cream cheese softened(the already soft kind you buy in the store works best)

1/4 cup pecans finely chopped.


On 4 small desert plates place two halve peaches with the round side against the plate.

In a small bowl put the 4 tablespoons of cream cheese and pecans and blend together until the chopped pecans are worked into the cream cheese

Place ½ tablespoon of the cream cheese and pecan mixture into each peach half and serve.

Peach Puree On Whole Wheat Crackers

This is a simple and easy peach snack that is a delight to eat and can be made at the drop of a hat.


2 peaches peeled pitted and cut into chunks

6 Low sodium wheat crackers (or 1 slice of bread toasted and cut into quarters)

6 Fresh blue berries


Place peach chunks in the blender and pulse until smooth and creamy

Spread puree on the 6 wheat crackers, top each cracker with a blueberry and enjoy.

Cranberry Peach Jello

Everyone loves jello and combine the sweet taste of peaches with the tartness of this jello is sure to make a great light Low Sugar snack.


1 box of sugar free cranberry jello

3 fresh peaches peel, pitted and cut into bite size pieces


Make the sugar free cranberry jello according to the directions on the box, fold in the peaches, pour into desert dishes and chill. Serve for a light refreshing snack or as dessert after dinner.
