Low Sugar Chocolate Pudding

The Internet abounds with Low Sugar Chocolate Pudding recipes and although homemade pudding tastes great most people simply don't have the time to make pudding from scratch. Perhaps that is why most people who are trying to lose weight or are watching their glucose levels prefer to buy the sugar free Chocolate Pudding mixes and who can blame them. These mixes are easy to make, are low in sugar, low in fat, and can be used to make a number of different desserts and snacks from simple puddings to parfaits, to pies.

These puddings are never boring because of the multitude of things you can add to them to make them taste slightly different each and every time you eat them. So rather than try to convince you to make your pudding from scratch or try to share with you a recipe for making pudding that you'll likely never use here are some ways that you can make that instant pudding take on a whole new life and create tasty and fun desserts and snacks in the process.

Chocolate Nut Pudding

You guessed it this pudding is just the plain old fat free sugar free chocolate variety with a few finely chopped nuts thrown in to give it some umph and a great nutty taste. Walnuts or peanuts or a combination of both are great in this pudding and gives it some added texture that keeps it from being the same old, same old.

Chocolate Orange Pudding

This pudding is made with a box of Chocolate Pudding mix, a little sugar free whipped topping with some sugar free orange Jello mixed into the topping then all blended together and topped with a dash of whipped cream and slices of orange. This is one elegant and tasty little pudding.

Chocolate Mocha Pudding

Substitute ½ cup of really strong black coffee for a half cup of low fat milk, top with fat free whipped topping and a dash of cinnamon for good measure and you have a coffee lovers dream snack. This is a great quick lunch dessert or a nice afternoon snack but, you don't want to serve this pudding too late at night.

Creamy chocolate peanut butter pudding

For this delicious pudding all you need is a 1/4 cup of softened cream cheese and ¼ cup of peanut butter (low fat) and mix them together until they are smooth and creamy. Then make up your pudding mix add the peanut butter mixture to pudding mix them all to together, refrigerate and serve.

These are just a few things you can do with that basic sugar free pudding mix. If you let your imagination flow you are sure to come up with some great ideas of your own. So, go ahead and experiment we're talking chocolate here so even the mistakes are bound to taste great!
