Kid Friendly Rice
Tantalizing kid friendly rice low fat low sugar recipe for a healthy kids diet and over 100 sugar free low fat recipes.Getting kids to eat various foods can be a challenge all right, especially when it relates to foods that kids might well look at as boring, such as rice. After all, rice is a very nondescript food that is basically tasteless all on its own, which is exactly why kids may be averse to even trying it!
As a parent, you want your kid to eventually grow to like rice (or at least tolerate eating it!), and the best way to do this is to strategically persuade them by way of introducing them to some kid friendly rice recipes.
At the same time, you also want to get your kid to eat healthily, and the younger he or she understands what eating healthier is all about, the better. After all, it really does not pay to have your kid eating rice and developing a fondness for rice, only to have him or her to develop unhealthy, rice-related eating habits.
Introducing a diet to your kid that focuses on low fat and low sugar ingredients will do the trick. People who eat a low fat and low sugar diet will not develop complications from being overweight, will lead longer lives and will be less at risk for things such as heart disease and the like.
Let’s take a look at one of these kid friendly rice recipes.
This recipe for pork-fried rice is healthy for kids, and here is the ingredient list:

Half a cup of Canadian bacon, small dice
Two medium garlic cloves, carefully chopped

You start by heating the peanut or the vegetable oil in a big, nonstick frying pan on medium heat. As this oil starts to shimmer, tilt your pan to coat it equally, and then put in the bacon, making sure to cook it until it turns brown, which should take about 5 minutes.
Now, you may put in the garlic and cook it until it becomes fragrant, which should occur in between 10 and 20 seconds. Add in the rice and stir-fry it, making sure to break it up and cooking it until it has been heated through and is coated well with the oil. This should occur in roughly 3 to 5 minutes.
At this point, you may carefully drizzle in the beaten eggs and then cook while stirring frequently, so that the rice is coated in egg and set. All of this will take another 2 minutes to happen.
Now, put in your frozen vegetables and cook them until they are thawed and cooked throughout, which will take about 3 minutes. Finally, add the scallions, the soy sauce, the sesame oil and cook until the scallions start to wilt, which is takes about 1 minute.
There you have it: a healthy, kid-friendly dish of pork-fried rice!
