Eggs are a very versatile food. We eat them for breakfast, cook with them, bake with them and even use them for snacks. While egg calories may be quite low, only 72 calories per egg, they are however, high in cholesterol which means that you should limit the number of eggs you consume each week. However, since most of the cholesterol and ½ the calories are contained in the egg yolk, you can enjoy more eggs by eating less yolk.
Replacing those whole eggs with egg beaters whenever possible will lower your egg calories by half and cut out most of the cholesterol as well allowing you to enjoy more eggs while still saving calories and maintaining your health.
