Diet Can Ease Depression
Recent studies seem to indicate that there may be a correlation between diet and depression. While these studies don't suggestion that diet can cure clinical depression, they did show that people who were depressed lack certain vitamins and minerals in their diets. This could mean that people who suffer from bouts of mild depression may benefit from eating a more healthy diet.
Eating a diet that is low in fats and processed foods but rich in vitamins, minerals and nutrients could well make a difference to your mood. Making sure that you eat plenty of green leafy vegetables and other dark or brightly colored vegetables, lean proteins and plenty of vitamin D may well keep you feeling more positive and cheerful and keep those blues at bay.
