Cholesterol Lowering Foods and tips to lower cholesterol levels.

Before starting any new diet plan, be sure and discuss it with

your doctor and/or a professional health care provider.

Do not fry in oil.

Avoid frying anything! Instead grill, broil, bake, boil, roast,

poach, steam, stir-fry or microwave food.

instead use blueberries or other fresh fruit as sweetener.

Limit rice and pasta to no more than half a cup per serving.

Count caloric intake and choose only foods low in fat or

polyunsaturated fats.

Use only fat free milk or at least milk that contains 2% fat or


Replace drinks that contain sugar with water.

Drink lots of water throughout the day.

Eat veggies and fruits throughout the day in order to avoid

hunger pains. Waiting until you get very hungry to eat only

causes your brain to signal your body to store fat.

Do eat often but consume foods in smaller portions and eat only

meals that are healthier and contain either low fat or

polyunsaturated fats.
